‼️‼️04 Unpredictable Complications of Cervical Disc Herniation ‼️‼️

Feeling the neck is a bit stiff and painful when moving, the dull pain spreads down the shoulder ... is a sign of progression of cervical disc herniation. The pain can visit and go, so many people subjectively for untreated, until the disease gets worse, it can cause serious complications such as:

• TIA (Transient ischemic attack): A herniated disc causes blood circulation to the brain to be obstructed, leading to cerebral ischemia. Patients will experience dizziness, lightheadedness, numbness in the limbs, decreased vision.
• Cervical spinal stenosis: Cervical spinal stenosis causes neck and shoulder fatigue, numbness and weakness in the limbs.
• Spinal cord compression syndrome: The patient will feel unbalanced, have stiff pain in the neck or back; sciatica, limb weakness and the risk of permanent disability or even death.
• Permanent paralysis: Prolonged untreated cervical disc herniation, severe pain and numbness in the extremities, can lead to the risk of permanent paralysis.
